About Our Nucs
We produce quality nucs from queens and bees which are proven to be gentle, and good honey producers.
Our nucs are produced using Italian Queens, VHS Pol-Line 2.2 queens and queens from my stock. Our early nucs are produced with Italian queens, the next batch is produced from VHS Pol-Line 2.2 queens. Nucs from my stock are started once queens are available. My stock is an open mated mixture of Italian, Pol-Line 2.2 and Saskatraz. They will be available most of the summer.
Nucs contain a mixture of brood, food/pollen/bee bread and a laying queen (at least 3 frames of brood). All the frames will be 90% drawn, or more.
Quantities are limited. Availability for early nucs can be guaranteed by paying a $60.00, non-refundable deposit or full payment, in advance. Nucs can be preordered/reserved, on this website or by phone. You will be contacted by email if you placed your order online.
Nucs are not shipped. They must be picked up in Killen, Alabama. Targeted pickup date for early nucs is April 20, 2024. Actual date may vary depending on the weather, delivery of queens or other things that are out of my control.
Nucs are packaged in a corrugated plastic transport box or other suitable temporary container.
We will be happy to direct you on woodware/bee supplies.
