OUR STORY
Granny and I started with one colony in 2016. She was fascinated with bees, loves honey and wanted a hobby.
Since then, our apiary has grown tremendously. We now sell honey, nucleus colonies (nucs) and queen bees. Swarm recovery is another addition to our bee adventure.

ABOUT Papa Jim's Bees

Granny and I have been learning from bees for several years now. She thought beekeeping would be a good hobby and it would be nice to have some honey to share with friends and family. We started out as a team, then I started building too many colonies which overwhelmed her. Granny still loves the bees and helps out occasionally.
Since retirement from my day job, I am dedicated to our bees producing premium honey and quality starter bee colonies (Nucs). The Nucs a created with Italian, Pol-Line and Alabama mixed breed. We have limited numbers of seasonable queen bees for sale.
We are always on call for swarm recovery.
